Likewise, the band’s vocals are pristine and capture beauteous harmonization, much like the original composition.Įxcept for Anderson, who stands tall with his guitar, the other band members are casually gathered around the lone instrument, using their vocal ranges to intensify the meaning behind the beloved ballad, written by Stills about his former girlfriend, singer/ songwriter Judy Collins.Īs the crescendo builds, the band loosens, grooving their way toward the last verses of the tune.
